Actor Vishal is presently focusing on his recovery process after suffering a back injury while shooting an action sequence for his forthcoming film ‘Purushan.’ Vishal is known for doing action sequences in all his movies, and it has been learned that even after suffering an injury, he did not stop shooting. The accident happened while they were shooting a fight sequence in Goa. While this injury made him stop working for some time, he is now recovering well through proper treatment. His recovery has also raised questions about when he will return to the sets of the Sundar C-directed film.
Doctors advise three weeks of rest for Vishal after Goa accident
According to Cinema Vikatan, Vishal injured his back during an action sequence choreographed by Kanal Kannan in Goa. The scene involved several fighters, and the injury occurred unexpectedly while the sequence was being filmed. Nevertheless, even with the pain, the actor apparently completed the shooting of the day and continued with the shooting the next day since the schedule was almost coming to an end. But with the increase in the pain, he sought the help of some doctors who told him that he should rest for three weeks. The injury even stopped Vishal from attending the South Indian Artistes’ Association general body meeting which took place on September 27. The actor has apparently termed it as an accident.
Vishal undergoes physiotherapy as ‘Purushan’ shooting plans remain in focus
Vishal is taking medical advice as he has been going through physiotherapy treatment. According to reports, the pain in his back is gradually fading away, but for the time being, he requires sufficient rest before getting back into challenging scenes. The crew is hoping that he will join the shoot again after recovering some more and the next one is expected to be held in Chennai.
