The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 is underway, with IIM Kozhikode conducting the exam across three slots. The first session began at 8:30 am and concluded at 10:30 am, with nearly 2.95 lakh candidates expected to appear. Initial feedback from Slot 1 candidates suggests that the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate.

According to preliminary analysis, the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section dominated by Reading Comprehension questions, which proved to be the most challenging part of the exam. The Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) section, on the other hand, was relatively easy, with a manageable number of questions.

The Quantitative Ability (Quant) section saw a heavy focus on Arithmetic, with questions ranging from basic algebra to number systems. While some candidates found the section moderately difficult, others reported that it was relatively manageable.

The initial analysis of the question paper suggests that the examiners have maintained a consistent difficulty level across the sections. However, the actual difficulty level may vary depending on individual candidates' strengths and weaknesses.

As the exam continues, candidates can expect to see more updates and analysis. For now, candidates are advised to wait for the official answer key, which will be released shortly after the exam concludes. Once the answer key is available, candidates can assess their performance and prepare for the next steps in the selection process.

Stay tuned for further updates and analysis as the CAT 2025 exam continues.
